Lake Park

Lake Park has a lot of small, well-built older houses — the kind where the trim is real wood, the stucco is original, and a careful paint job makes the whole block look better. It also has a growing strip of independent businesses along Park Avenue that need their storefronts to look sharp.

On the older houses our estimates always include the boring part: scraping the failing edges, sanding back to a sound surface, priming bare wood, and re-caulking the joints. Skip it and the new coat peels along the same lines the old one did.

Bathtub reglazing is popular here too, because a lot of these homes have a single original tub in good structural shape that simply looks dated. A day of work is usually the difference, not a bathroom renovation.
